***The Story Trail at Lake Lowell Park is closed in June and July 2024, to allow crews to make improvements to the trail and landscaping. Check back on this webpage for more updates later this summer!***

The Story Trail at Lake Lowell Park was created by Canyon County Parks in 2012. From May through October, a different story book is displayed each month on reading platforms located along a nature trail in the park. Visitors can wander the trail and read fun, nature-related stories while exploring the park. It provides another way for families to be outside and, at the same time, reinforce the joy of reading! The Story Trail and Lake Lowell Park are open from dawn to dusk, every day.
